And you thought embroidery was mostly done on fabric. These unique and wonderful embroidery works of art were done by Cape Town textile artist and photographer Danielle Clough using old tennis and badminton rackets. We wondered how long each would have taken her to finish?

He make have a sleepy look to him but Andrei Budaev, who is in his late 40s, dress simply but speaks quickly. He has been doing political caricatures for almost 20 years, since the Yeltsin era and is best known for his recreations of classical painting, mainly Russian, with faces of political figures crafted onto them.

"Not one work of art is protected from him in the history of humanity," German news magazine Der Spiegel sardonically commented a few years ago.

Budaev told Der Spiegel that "I bring our politicians back to earth. I want them to understand that they're not gods."

Nithin Rao Kumblekar, from  Bangalore, India, began his career as an Art Director for advertising agencies such as McCann, Ogilvy & Triton but after some time decided to branch out on his own to become a freelancer.

Nithin's passion for illustration started early, continued through school and since thereafter.  During his school days, he would copy from magazines and posters and recreate his versions with his own unique style.

Since then, Nithin has worked for many advertising agents and corporate clients such as Vodafone, Allen Solly, Britannia, Bingo, Kingfisher, IBM, Lenovo, TVS, ING Vysya Bank.. etc have all used his illustrations.
